Michael N Tripicco, the archivist for the Mamaroneck Historical Society, has published two books of pictures from historical postcards.
Old Mamaroneck Pictures from Postcards features almost 100 quality pictures from Tripicco’s personal collection.. The 50-page book is available for $20 on Amazon.
And his new, second book, Fort Slocum: Pictures From Postcards, features about 120 images of the onetime military post on Davids Island on Long Island Sound off New Rochelle. The images run from 1905 to 1950.
