Prohibition and speakeasies in Mamaroneck and Larchmont will be the featured topic at the June Mamaroneck Historical Society Members Get-together.

Speakeasies were secret drinking spots that operated when alcholic beverages were declared illegal during Prohibition from 1920 to 1933.

The Members Get-together is 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, at the Woman's Club of Mamaroneck, 504 Cortlandt Avenue.

Members of the community are welcome to this free event.
