The Mamaroneck Historical Society's September members meeting will feature an update from President John Pritts on several matters.

These include his visit to a Glens Falls, N.Y., hotel that is displaying a digital copy of one of Mamaroneck's James Fenimore Cooper murals. The Queensbury Hotel made Defending the Rock into wallpaper and is displaying it in the lobby.

John also responded to inquiries from the Griffin and Rushmore families about local ancestors.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Mamaroneck Woman's Club, 504 Cortlandt Avenue.
